Elon Musk may keep an open book policy on his companies on Twitter or even let strangers decide how he spends his money via a Twitter poll. However, some things such as an eventful childhood among others are aspects of his life that he keeps secret. Even if you can learn to read Elon between the lines. One of them is the birth of his youngest child.

Musk's newest child is a girl he had with his partner, popularly known as Grimes. However, unlike the first child they had together, named X, the couple decided on surrogacy. Grimes revealed in an interview that she and Musk wanted more children, but she wasn't scared to go through another pregnancy.

The latest baby is called Y for short, but her full name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk.

While the birth of X in 2020 was well documented and generated some controversy due to his name, the announcement of Y was more of an accident.
In a sit-down interview in her home with Vanity Fair writer Devin Gordon, the 33-year-old singer told Gordon that X was spending time with his father. So when Gordon heard a baby crying upstairs, Grimes realized the cat had been let out of the bag.

Gordon asked about the house's other occupant when the crying sound persisted; after rambling a bit, Grimes admitted the baby making the sounds upstairs belonged to Musk and her.

Grimes also confirmed Baby Y was born in December via surrogacy, and all four live in Austin, where Musk has moved most of his business.

Perhaps Elon is a family man because he likes how children keep him young! We hope he enjoys the moments while they last and doesn't get too stressed or lose any hair over them.

Concerning how Baby Y will be brought up, Grimes said the girl would have a more private life, unlike her older brother, who Musk has put in the public light on several occasions. She admitted Musk would more or less be raising the boy while she would raise Y.

Meanwhile, news broke some time ago that Musk and Grimes had broken up. However, when asked about it, Grimes presented another view of their relationship, conceding it was complicated. She claims the two remain best of friends and frequently see each other as both pursue their different passions and continue to live in separate houses.

Grimes explained the origins of the name. Exa came from the idea of a supercomputing term exFLOP, which means the ability to process one quintillion floating-point operations per second. Dark comes from the unknown, which, according to Grimes, is beautiful. Sideræl is inspired by her favorite Lord of the Rings character, Galadriel.

We wish Baby Y a prosperous life. What do you think of the name? What would you name the new baby? Sound off in the comments!
