Tesla in Texas - Elon Goes Cowboy!

Tesla’s new factory opening is always a big event, which sees the expressive CEO Elon Musk bust out some impressive dance moves. However, the opening of Giga Texas is an event tagged, Cyber Rodeo, which was bigger than any gathering the company had ever arranged.

Cyber Rodeo, which obviously got its name from the Cyber electric pickup truck, attracted a crowd of 15,000 people. The town of Austin had to close schools early to prevent children returning home from getting caught up in all of the traffic.

The structure is taller than the famous Burj Khalifa hotel in the UAE, but when you stand it on its side. He also revealed the factory could house 194 billion hamsters.

The event kicked off with a drone show depicting Nikola Tesla, whose name the company bears. It also featured some of Tesla’s cars, including the Cybertruck. The truck actually made an appearance later, which displayed new changes to be observed on the prototype. There were no handles on the truck doors, and Musk demonstrated how to access the cabin.

As expected, Musk then climbed on stage sporting a black ensemble that included a cowboy hat and thanked the team for their hard work in getting the factory up and running. Musk gave some interesting facts about Giga Texas. If you were to

Musk described the factory in greater detail, calling it the most advanced facility in the world for making cars.

The world’s richest man reminded the crowd that he gave Tesla only a 10 percent chance of surviving when the company started. That is all in the past, with Tesla accounting for two-thirds of all the EVs in the US.

Apart from cars, Giga Factory will produce the new 4680 battery that will power the upcoming vehicles, including the Cybertruck and Semi. It could also be one of the largest facilities for producing battery cells.

Giga Factories let Tesla put all of its manufacturing processes under a single roof. It has sections for stamping, casting, painting, battery cell production, general assembly, etc.

Musk apologized for the long delay in the production of the Cybertruck and said that the company plans to start manufacturing it in 2023. Musk ended with the promise that the wait would be worth it.
