One Big Musk Family - Meet Elon's Kids!

As a public figure, Elon Musk fascinates many people with his long list of achievements. Many people want to know more about the man, including what his family life looks like. For example, how many children does Musk have, and with whom does he have them?

To start with, Musk thinks everybody should have more children, as the human population may soon begin to shrink as the global birth rate is in decline. So you would expect him to have children of his own.

Five of Musk's children were from his first wife, Justine Wilson, a Canadian author he met while attending Queen's University. The two got married in 2000.

Two years after they were married, Musk's first child was born; a boy named Nevada Alexander. Tragically he died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at 10 weeks old.

Musk and Justine decided to use IVF to birth more children. The then couple welcomed twins Xavier and Griffin in 2004 and two years after that, they had a set of triplets named Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Unfortunately, the couple divorced in 2008.

Despite their father's oversized wealth, all the boys from Musk's first marriage have stayed out of the limelight. They attend a radical, ultra-exclusive school that Musk set up at his SpaceX headquarters. The school is described as experimental and takes few select students.

Later Musk would get married again to an actress, divorce her, and remarry her. However, the marriage ended in divorce again and no children came from the union.

Musk would end up dating Grimes, a musician with Canadian roots like him. The two have never been married, but have two children together. The first one, a boy, was born in 2020. His name, X Æ A-Xii, would become controversial, but Musk has simply referred to him as Baby X.

The second child, a girl, came in 2021 through a surrogate, as Grimes said she feared going through another pregnancy. She is named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, or Baby Y. The two last children have had much more media exposure than their five older siblings.

With six children being raised you could say that Musk is a real family man. His contribution to the human gene pool is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
