Elon Musk, Amber Heard & Johnny Depp (LOVE TRIANGLE?!)

While Elon Musk has his hands full running multiple companies and will soon be running Twitter, the extreme workload has not stopped him from having romantic relationships. While it didn't lead to marriage and children, Musk had been involved with popular actress Amber Heard.

Exactly when Musk and Heard started dating has never been officially confirmed by either party. However, the pair met for the first time on the set of a movie titled 'Machete Kills.' Yes, Musk has acting credits. Heard played Miss San Antonio Blanca Vasquez while Musk appeared in a cameo role. Other notable mentions included Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, & Lady Gaga.

However, by 2017, Musk had been divorced from Talulah Riley for the second time, and Heard was also no longer married to film star Johnny Depp. If Depp's testimony in the defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife was to be believed, Musk and Heard started having an affair no later than one month after Depp's and Heard's wedding, which was in 2015.

Depp's testimony is disputed by Musk, who through his spokesperson, said he and Heard didn't start spending time together until May 2016. Additionally, he claims the relationship did not become romantic until months after that. At any rate, Musk and Heard appeared in a photograph together in April 2017, which more or less made the relationship official. Heard posted an Instagram photo of the pair hanging out at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary in Australia and later posted a photo of her and Elon at dinner, with Musk sporting an obvious lipstick kiss mark on his cheek, most likely planted by Amber.

The relationship didn't last long, as the two announced in August 2017 that they were separating. Reportedly, the culprit was distance, as they worked far from one another and could not see each other as much as they would have liked. However, the pair stated they still held mutual respect for one another.

Musing on his short-lived romance on Twitter, Musk said, "Long-distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds."

That proved to be true, as the two reunited towards the end of the year. But the love boat suffered a shipwreck again a few months later. This time, the two parted for good.

There were rumors that Musk and Amber had a three-way relationship involving model Cara Delevingne, but the Tesla CEO has denied the claim. Also, due to the ongoing court case in which Depp alleged physical abuse from Heard, some commenters had wondered about the origin of a mark on Musk's face in one of his photos with Heard.
